Unboxing the MPR Mini
Right out of the box, Wedgetail makes a strong first impression. The rifle ships with two 10-round magazines, a set of brand stickers and patches (a small but appreciated touch), and of course, the star of the show — the MPR Mini itself.
As soon as you pick it up, the quality is obvious. The rifle is exceptionally lightweight at just 2.8kg, with an overall length of 825mm (stock collapsed), making it ideal for vehicle use, hunting, or any application where compactness matters.

Range Testing and Performance
We mounted a ZeroTech micro prism optic (pre-release model) and got straight into testing. Bore sighting was simple, and after a few shots, we were on target.
Even without a heavy barrel or weight to help with recoil control, the MPR Mini is surprisingly soft shooting. We tested both 50-grain and 60-grain projectiles, and both cycled flawlessly. There’s a noticeable but manageable increase in recoil when moving to the heavier rounds — nothing that would concern even newer shooters.
Shooting off-hand or even one-handed, muzzle rise was minimal, and the brake does an excellent job of directing gas evenly. Target reacquisition was quick and natural.
